Baby Guest Book

I got a last minute request to make a small baby guest book for a baby shower. I can't say no to help making a shower more special and having a place to treasure some of the memories from that day. Thankfully I have a big collection of paper, dies and embellishment to make the project.

I didn't want to stick to a square or basic shape album, so I changed it up and decided to go with a baby onesie shape. Seriously how cute is this?! I picked lighter shades of blue and added a grey tone in their too. I wanted the pages to have enough space for the guest to write a special message, so I added the different icons/characters at the bottom of the page. The entire book is make with just cardstock :)

The die is from Sizzix (Baby Onesie) but unfortunately I don't see it on the sizzix site or anywhere else online :( Here is the item on Amazon. If you have a cricut they do sell cartridges with onesie images or in the Design Studio there is lots of onesie's available with the subscription. Non subscription user their is even a free onesie (#M4361B).

Cardstock: Prism. Die Cuts: Sizzix & Cricut. Rings: Junkitz.

Little Bebe

This was such a fun project for me to work on, usually I am  making little girl gifts and it was good to switch is up :). I really enjoy sharing my passion and letting others have a special place to hold their memories. This was an 8 x 8 album, which is a great size for gifts and can hold multiple photos! A tip I have for making mini albums as gifts, is to keep an open mind about picture size. I go with the standard 4 x 6 when making photo mattes and like to have "open" pages (pages without mattes) so photos can be added however the person likes. Do you have any tips for making mini album gifts?!

52 Reasons

I've been sick this week, getting lots of rest and finally feeling better, so I'm back with a postie! This is a project I made for hubby while he was on deployment :) There are lots of different ways to make this gift for your special someone. I'm not a big fan of my own hand writing so I typed out the reasons and glued them to the cards and used washi tape to add something to it, plus it helps hold them down. I actually came up with more than 52 reasons why I love hubby so some of the cards have reason's on both sides. Hubby likes to play cards, so I found a set of cards that were actually used at a casino, that was by shear luck too! Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Art Making :-)

Cards: Dollar Store. Sticker (52), Binder Rings, Ribbon: Junkitz. Sticker (things I love about you): 7 gypsies. Washi Tape: Queen and Co. Ribbon: Unknown.

Little Baby Boy

Its been hectic here with the holidays, hubby got some extra time off, then the doggy got sick and furniture got delivered. I haven't had much time to even get into my room, but I did print some pics and working on arty presents! The little ones seem to be in full bloom right about now, this is a recent mini album I made for a mommy/daddy to be!

Hot Wheels

I've had these pictures, well forever! When I was younger I took lots of pictures of cars, there was all sorts of random pictures, I even had car logo epoxy stickers all ready to go for the mini album. I was able to get to them recently, yay! Then I found the perfect mini album, a car shaped chipboard album, I was so excited and ready to go. I used K & Company paper and lots of random :) embellishments from Junkitz to Making Memories. The car die cut is from Quickutz which I cut with the Doodlebug fuzzy paper, my favorite! My other favorite is the thickers from American Crafts, the new fabric ones are awesome. Hope you enjoy :)

Future Library

I absolutely love books, I am either at Barnes and Nobles or the library! Well the library is nice enough to let me borrow the books and take them home to read. I am slowly building my book collection, so with the books I borrow, I made this handy dandy mini album to write down the book titles and know what I need to get for my future library.

I got the mini album from Target. The paper is one of my fav companies, Pebbles Inc. I got a collection pack and used a lot of it for this mini album, thankfully in the pack comes die cuts and stickers. I glued the paper on the pages first then use Fiskars decorative edge scissors to cut them to create a layers :) The circle scallops are from Paper Source, that store rocks, I always stock up on those fun card flat shapes :-)

Friends Word Book

I made this scrapbook for a friends birthday present. I am so happy I was able to use this word book, she loves purple and when I was it was like ahhhh ohhhh!!!!! I created this book in about an hour, maybe a little longer, hehe. I bought the word book at a scrapbook expo :) There is lots of goodies in the word book: junkitz, slice, quickutz, ki memories, doodlebug design and creative imaginations. Sorry the pics are out of order, blogger is being special!

Dog Hero

A while back one of my dogs got stuck in the fence literally and the local fire department came and rescued him and took him to the vet in the ambulance. This is the scrapbook I made for them to show our appreciation :-) The dog album was hand cut out of chipboard, the die cut shapes & abc are from quickutz, the cardstock is from bazzill and the rest of the products are from junkitz.

Still getting used to blogger :-) Hope this post all right. Going to work on some more blog transferring. Everyone have a great day :D
