Photography Brand Banner

Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's a snow day for us and puppy is enjoying it! The weekend was crazy busy with parties, yard sales and K9 SAR. I've been busy with work, which is always a good thing, I have an interview this week at my LSS for a design team position/teaching, so excited!

I wanted to give a super big awesome congratulations to Katie P. Photography, LLC for getting her LLC :) Katie is such an amazing, sweet women and her photography rocks. I am so thankful I was able to help her out and be a part of her celebration day for her business. I encourage you all to go check her out on her website or facebook page! Trust me you won't be disappointed! I can't wait for her to take some pictures of our furbaby in her upcoming Easter mini sessions.

CS: Prism. Cricut. Ribbon: May Arts. Ink: Heidi Swapp. Stamp: Unknown.
I had stamped the chevron to match the business color ;)

I (heart) Teaching

Before the big move across the USA, I had the opportunity to teach at my local Michael's. I really enjoyed being able to share my passion with people. I wanted to show you some of the classes I taught and all the  classes Michael's has to offer and to make sure you check out your local Michael's for upcoming classes!

Some close up :D
One of my fav classes!

Scrap Time

I had this clock kit for a while, I purchased it at a scrapbook expo. I finally got to crack it open, I switched out the papers and embellishment, because I wanted to keep it in the scrapbook room and needed it to coordinate with our color scheme, which is pink, black and white. I can't wait to hang it up in the room. The original quote was "time flies when your having fun", well my type of fun is scrapping so I changed the words. And you know what time does fly when you scrap :)

The clock is just a general clock with a plastic clear cover. The patterned paper/cardstock is from Bazzill/Heidi Swapp, it was from event and I was at the Bazzill store and they had some extra packets. Seriously some rockin paper. I love cardstock paper with patterened, I recently explored the Bazzill website and saw the CHA catalog awesome, they came out with patterned paper, I so need it! The chipboard numbers are just covered in glitter and from Junkitz. The bird sticker is also from Heidi Swapp, I put it on top of patterened paper and cut it out.

HINT: When you do this make sure you test some of your embellishments with the clock lid on before you glue and the clock hands ;)

Bye Bye ....

So when I get in a rut, I have this jar in my scrapbook room that has lots of little ideas on strips of paper. Yesterday I was in a rut so I got the jar and pulled out a couple of ideas for me to play with on my page.

Here are the ideas I got: Corner Rounder (I did some of the paper and the entire page), Tear Paper (this was fun an oldie but goodie technique), Chalk (I had to do some digging for that), Patterened Paper (easy enough I have tons of that) and Brads (I used ribbon slotted brads).

Patterened Paper: October Afternoon. Ribbon & Cb Shape: Unknown. Brads: Bazzill. Mist: Tattered Angels. Journaling Spot: Heidi Swapp. Chalk, Pen, ABC, Corner Rounder: Ek Success.

I had lots of fun making this layout, even though I got stuck in the beginning. Its all about me and starting the process of getting my braces, so bye bye went the wisdom teeth. Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! xoxo - Kat
