Turning Two Banner

Hello Crafty World! I am sure all of you are just as busy as we are getting ready for the holidays, craft fairs and life in general. I have been creating like crazy just not too much time to post. Plus I have lots of fun things planned for my blog.

The other day I found a big file of photos of my previous creations, I was so relieved. I had been looking for the pictures for a long time. This is was one of my favorite to make. So whimsical and girly at the same time. After the birthday I took out "is 2" so it could be hung in Norah's room! The flowers are from this Sizzix die, they are very easy to use and lots of fun. Since the die is a bigz die you can cut it out of fabric or felt and have the die go even further!

Teacher Appreciation Crafts

It has been busy but good here. Hunter has lots going on with his Search and Rescue training and is almost ready to go to the next level! I need to get down to getting a schedule for my days so I don't dilly dally and play on facebook lol.

Teacher appreciation week recently passed and I got asked to make some goodies for my friends favorite teachers! How could I say no, I love being crafty :) Did you make any crafty goodies for your child/children teacher? I would love to see your projects, leave a link the comments section so I can check it out!

Bridal Shower Thank You Cards

I was cleaning some of the boxes out in the garage,  things are still a little scattered from when we moved to our new duty station. I found all our wedding stuff, I was able to finish our shadow box, it has my bouquet, announcements, invitations, garter belt and hubby's boutonniere. This card is a thank you for everyone that came to my bridal shower/bachelorette party.  Embossed the pink cardstock and just repeat stamped the "thank you". I hand colored the girl in the dress, but I can't recall if it was copic markers or watercolor pencils. Thanks for checking out my blog!!!! Happy Wednesday! Inlaws came to visit and its a little hectic here! :D

Ballet Banner

Thanks everyone for being patient with me and my blogging. Its been crazy again. We had a death in the family and had to push a lot of things to different dates. Plus I had a big order to make party decor (can't wait to share with you!). So pweh, but I'm back and can't wait to get this party started.

Here is a ballet banner I made for a donation to an auction at a dance studio, all the money made helps the dancers fulfill there dreams! I was so excited to be able to help out. I hope whoever received this is enjoying it!

I really love the look everyone has been creating with the tissue paper, but I didn't have any so I created my own! I will post a video later on, on how to do this!

My Little Pony Banner

Happy Tuesday!!! I had such an exciting weekend, I can't wait till tomorrow though. I am hosting an open crafty day at my house, this is where my friends can come bring whatever project they are working on and we can all craft together! So excited and this week I am getting a new craft table! So I am going to have to redo the entire room, hopefully it will all work out!

Here is a recent banner I made for a friend, for her daughter! She is a huge My Little Pony fan and I wanted to capture that in the banner for her room, with the colors and the icons :) In the last picture you can see the banner in her room with all her ponies! This was so much fun to make, especially since I am a pony fan too!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Happy Art Making! :)

Happy Birthday Star

Whoa to say its been a crazy whirlwind is putting it lightly! A big snow storm came through again, doggie and hubby were excited about it because it was a snow day! I had my open house for my paper crafts business and ever since then its been great! I had to take a day off on Monday to catch up from all the fun! Thank you so much everyone for the support and helping my business grow! As you can see I have been on a card kick lately! But I definitely want to get back into scrapbooking and I am even going to try my hand at project life! I can't wait, I already ordered some products! Thanks for checking my blog out today and I always love reading your comments!

Happy Holidays!

Well yest the holidays have come and gone, but I still wanted to share the cards I made. It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to do but I am really happy how they turned out. I had to make 50 cards, thankfully I had a helper to die cut the snowflakes. I am not sure if you can tell but the blue cardstock under the embossed sheet is a shimmer cardstock! Thanks for checking out my card and I hope the weather is warming up where you are! Happy Art Making!!!

Little Bebe

This was such a fun project for me to work on, usually I am  making little girl gifts and it was good to switch is up :). I really enjoy sharing my passion and letting others have a special place to hold their memories. This was an 8 x 8 album, which is a great size for gifts and can hold multiple photos! A tip I have for making mini albums as gifts, is to keep an open mind about picture size. I go with the standard 4 x 6 when making photo mattes and like to have "open" pages (pages without mattes) so photos can be added however the person likes. Do you have any tips for making mini album gifts?!

I (heart) Teaching

Before the big move across the USA, I had the opportunity to teach at my local Michael's. I really enjoyed being able to share my passion with people. I wanted to show you some of the classes I taught and all the  classes Michael's has to offer and to make sure you check out your local Michael's for upcoming classes!
