Mist Splatter Cards & Good Bye TwoPeas

I can't believe its Thursday already! I am on vaca from work, I have to get a plan going so I can utilize the most of my time :) Which really means plan lots of crafty time hehe :)

If you haven't heard the news yet, Two Peas in a Bucket is closing there doors. I am still in complete shock! I have been on two peas since 2005 and have had a wonderful time there! I meet so many amazing and inspiring ladies, I am going to miss it so much! Thanks Two Pea's for all the great memories and I wish everyone all the best! Goodbye Two Pea's and Hello to new adventure and finding a go to place!

Masculine cards have always been a struggle for me, am I the only one? I am a family of all girls, my grandparents had all girls and they had all girls lol The only boys are my grandpa and adopted awesome cousin! Ohh so often I have lots of girl things to make! To me that's easy with flowers, cutie animals and bright colors!

So off to my craft room I went in search of making a masculine card for father's day! If your like me you have tons of mist, but I felt that it looked to light and flurry when sprayed.

I came up with a fun idea. Instead of spraying the mist I took off the top and splattered it on the card! This can be a messy project so make sure your craft area is protected and you don't mind getting your hands dirty or stained. I may do a video so you can see it in action!

BoBunny Layout and Card

Its Wonderful Wednesday and summer is in full swing here; playing outside in the sprinklers, tank tops and afternoon showers.

I absolutely adore the local scrapbook store, The Creative Nook, and being on the design team is so much fun! Everyone is great, I get to see the new goodies come in and I always enjoy when I go visit. Here is a recent layout and card I made to be displayed in the store. Its been a while since I have created a layout and I love it! I need to spend some time just printing pictures so I can scrap more :)

Every time I create something and there is extra's I put them in a drawer which I call a "treasure box". I have had the sizzix flip card die for some time and wanted to try it out!  So with die in hand and the goodies from my treasure box I created the card below!

Goodies and Cool Blogs

I must be one lucky lady because I have won some cool prizes lately! I wanted to share the prizes and the amazing ladies blogs as well! I can't wait to get crafting and utilize all the goodies!

A cool kit!

This kit I got from the lovely Leslie Webster! Her stuff rocks, when you get a chance head over to her blog and check it out! Dictionary's Creative Space. I can't wait to play with this kit and I am so excited for the color ink, as I don't have any, so its a great way to get my collection started! Thanks Leslie for the kit!

One rockin book!
I had taken some time off to get myself better and along the way, I won this book from the wonderful Lisa Swift. She was nice enough to email me to let me know I won too, how cool is that?! She has an amazing blog too, Remember the Good Time. I just got the book yesterday and only got to peek at it, but so far its awesome! I can't wait to try some of the projects out. Thanks again Lisa!

Love Birds Thank You Cards

Happy Monday! Can't believe a new week has started, lots of fun things planned and excited about it! It snowed again in Maryland and I am hoping that was the last of it. Our furbaby injured his leg and has to be on minimal activity, which is not easy for a puppy! As you know I found our wedding box and here is another card, they were thank you cards for all the wonderful gifts, thoughts and people who made our wedding special.

Bridal Shower Thank You Cards

I was cleaning some of the boxes out in the garage,  things are still a little scattered from when we moved to our new duty station. I found all our wedding stuff, I was able to finish our shadow box, it has my bouquet, announcements, invitations, garter belt and hubby's boutonniere. This card is a thank you for everyone that came to my bridal shower/bachelorette party.  Embossed the pink cardstock and just repeat stamped the "thank you". I hand colored the girl in the dress, but I can't recall if it was copic markers or watercolor pencils. Thanks for checking out my blog!!!! Happy Wednesday! Inlaws came to visit and its a little hectic here! :D

Bottles

A few more days and its August I can't believe it, for me that means weddings galore! A friend is having her baby soon and we got her a little gift basket, so I was in charge of making the card. I've been in a little funk lately and not being able to find my mojo. But I guess a little pressure pushed me back into creativity lane! So tada here is the card :-) This is project 3/50 for me. I'm gonna admit I was bad and bought some scrappy supplies. Have you seen some of the new things from CM, I couldn't help myself :) Hope your starting off the week with a bang. Happy Art Making.

Shop till you drop

Like most scrapbookers/artist everytime I go to an arts and craft store even if its just for one thing, I have to poke around the entire store! Lots of cute things are trending now and I had to get a piece of the action. Here is some of my most recent purchases. These were definitely NEEDS hehe :)

I call this my trendy trip, gotta love Archivers! My first mustache and washi tape purchase. (I will post my project I created with the tape soon!)  Of course some pendants. I plan on using the premade pendants as templates!

This is my thrifty purchase! While roaming the aisle at Michael's, I came across this fiskars set! It  was originally $40 and was on clearance for $15. The trimmer by itself is worth it. I don't plan on opening this baby till we move!
